CDC says more monitoring for adult mental illness needed


A report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that increased mental health surveillance will help guide effective mental illness prevention and treatment. The report also notes that many chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity, are associated with mental illnesses. Read “Mental Illness Surveillance Among Adults”.
