Cervical length good predictor of labor

When the cervix measured more than 30 mm at a woman’s due date, she had a less than a 50% chance of delivering within 7 days, but when the cervix measures 10 mm or less, women have more than an 85% chance of delivering within 7 days, according to a meta-analysis in BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
