Physical activity, especially during teen years, lower impaired cognition in women

The study “Physical Activity Over the Life Course and Its Association with Cognitive Performance and Impairment in Old Age” found that women who were physically active during life, particularly during the teen years, were less likely to experience cognitive impairment. The study, which included 9,344 women 65 years or older, was published by the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. Read more at here.
