Study finds pneumococcal and herpes zoster vaccine can be given at same time

Contrary to what is stated in the herpes zoster vaccine insert, a study found that administering the vaccine at the same time as the pneumococcal vaccine did not increase the risk of herpes zoster. Giving the two vaccines at the same time would encourage more coverage of patients who do not want to make two office visits. Read more.
