Karine Austin, BSN, MSN, DNP, NEA-BC, CENP, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer and Abbi-Gail Baboolal, BSN, MSN, DNP, FNP, Chief Nursing Officer at NYC Health + Hospital/Queens are one of the teams in the Nurse Innovation Fellowship: 2025-2026 Cohort by Johnson & Johnson. This ground-breaking, one-year, team-based nursing fellowship for Chief Nursing Officers (CNO), nurse executives, and senior nurse leaders, is focused on powering-up nurse-led innovation and leadership within health systems to drive transformative change in the healthcare work environment. 

Kansas Underwood, VP of Operations and CNO at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, founded KU Coaching and Consulting to mentor and motivate fellow executives on their path to becoming transformational leaders.

Allison Squires, PhD, RN, FAAN, Professor & Director, Global Consortium of Nursing & Midwifery Studies, NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, has been named a 2025 Distinguished Alumni by Yale School of Nursing.

Milagros Elia, MA, APRN, ANP-BC is the recipient of the 2025 NYS Public Health Partnership Conference’s Environmental Health Leadership Award, which recognizes an organization, local health department, district/state office or individual that has made longstanding contributions to the field of environmental public health. 

Josephine Agyei, BSN, RN received the 2025 Nursing Alumni of Distinction Award at Mercy University. 

Jessica Varghese, PhD, RN received the 2025 Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year Award from the New York Institute of Technology. 

Tanya Drake, MSN, RN was spotlighted for her service on the Montefiore Nyack Hospital Board of Trustees, https://montefiorenyackfoundation.org/board-member-spotlight-tanya-drake/.
