On behalf of the Nurses House Board of Directors, it is with much enthusiasm that we reflect on 2025—a truly transformational year for us. The past year has been dedicated to laying a stronger foundation for our future, ensuring we can continue our mission of “nurses helping nurses” with greater stability and long-term vision. The most significant change this year was our physical move and transition to full independence from the Center for Nursing in June. While our partnership has been invaluable, the move marks a new chapter of self-sufficiency for Nurses House. We have fully settled into our new office space and ask you to please update your records to: 22 Century Hill Dr, Suite 101, Latham, NY 12110.
We are proud to announce another landmark achievement in 2025. In September, Nurses House was officially granted public charity status by the IRS. With applications for assistance rising, this designation is an important step in securing our long-term sustainability and expanding our reach. It unlocks critical new avenues for funding, allowing us to apply for grants from major foundations, many of which exclusively fund public charities.

As we build on the momentum of 2025, we invite you to take an active role in guiding our organization by joining our volunteer board of directors or one of our committees. The strength of Nurses House has always been its dedicated community, and we are seeking passionate individuals to help lead us into our next chapter. This is a great opportunity to provide your expertise and help steer the future of an organization committed to supporting our colleagues. If you’d like to join our board or a committee, please contact us at mail@nurseshouse.org for more information.
