Nurses Deal in Advocacy

Share
By: American Nurses Association — New York

The American Nurses Association-New York Political Action Committee (ANA-NY PAC) raises funds to support state elected officials and candidates seeking elected office who champion the nursing profession. 2026 is an election year in New York, where we will see all 213 members of the New York State Legislature running for election as well as the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Comptroller and Attorney General. To make sure we can impact the process, we need your help.

Registered nurses (RNs) around the state lead every day, from working on the front lines to caring for patients to mentoring the next generation of RNs. We must support state legislators and candidates who advocate for registered nurses and the nursing profession to continue building healthy work environments in every setting where RNs practice.

Beyond the Bedside: Donate to the ANA-NY PAC in this election year to Fund the Future of Nursing and Shape Healthcare Policy. The PAC goal is to achieve 100% participation from our 9,200+ fellow ANA-NY members.

We are asking ANA-NY members to donate at least $50. If all members do this, we can work together and put our PAC on “the map” in New York State.

Your ANA-NY PAC donation is not tax-deductible, must be in your name (not in memory or in honor of another person), will be public record, and your employer cannot reimburse the contribution.

Please click on the link to donate to your state ANA-NY PAC. *Please note that when you renew your annual ANA dues and select to donate money to the PAC, your money is going to the national ANA PAC, not your state ANA-NY PAC.

We thank you in advance for your donation to ANA-NY PAC in advocating for the nursing profession.

A Happy and Healthy 2026.
With heartfelt thanks,
ANA-NY PAC Board
