The Colorado Nurses Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 scholarship awards. Seventeen nursing students from across Colorado received a total of $33,500 in scholarships to support their nursing education, bringing the Foundation’s total to over $500,000 awarded since 2012. This milestone represents CNF’s ongoing commitment to advancing nursing in Colorado through educational support.
This year’s recipients are pursuing degrees at various levels—from associate degrees to doctoral programs—at nursing schools throughout the state. These scholarships reflect the generosity of donors, constituent associations, and organizations who share CNF’s vision that nursing is recognized for its leadership role in creating a sustainable healthcare system for Colorado.

“Each of these students represents the future of nursing in Colorado,” said Margaret Mulhall, President. “We are honored to support their educational journey and look forward to the contributions they will make to healthcare in our state.”
How to Apply and Support
The Colorado Nurses Foundation scholarship application opens each September and closes at the end of October. Recipients are announced in December, and scholarships are funded in January. Nursing students and RNs seeking advanced education who are Colorado residents committed to practicing nursing in Colorado are encouraged to apply.
The need for nursing scholarships continues to grow. Those interested in supporting the next generation of Colorado nurses can donate to the Colorado Nurses Foundation at www.coloradonursesfoundation.com. Additionally, proceeds from Colorado’s specialty nursing license plates go directly to nursing scholarships.
Congratulations to all the 2025 scholarship recipients. Your dedication to nursing excellence will make a lasting difference in the lives of Coloradans across our state.
