As your ANA-Michigan President and now Interim Executive Director, I want to take a moment to share important news about our organization’s ongoing evolution and future direction.
This fall, ANA-Michigan began the process of transitioning from our long-standing partnership with NGAGE Management, LLC, our management company for the past 12 years. This change represents an important step in our continued growth and our ongoing commitment to deliver exceptional service, advocacy, and support for nurses across Michigan.
We deeply appreciate the many years of dedicated partnership to assist ANA-Michigan to advance our mission and strengthen our organizational foundation. As we move forward, the ANA-Michigan Board of Directors will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth and transparent transition. Our focus remains clear: supporting member services, maintaining stability, continuity, and confidence while selecting the next management partner who will best be aligned with our mission and long-term vision. The new management company will be chosen with careful consideration for operational excellence, innovation, and commitment to member engagement.
What This Means for You
For our members, this transition will be seamless. All programs, events, and member benefits will continue without interruption. Our communication channels remain open, and we encourage your continued participation in shaping our collective future through our website, committees, Podcasts and ongoing activities. Your voice and engagement are essential as we move forward together.
For our partners and vendors, ANA-Michigan will continue to honor all existing commitments. Our Board of Directors will ensure that communication, collaboration, and operational processes remain clear and consistent throughout the transition period.
Looking Ahead
We view this moment not as a disruption, but as an opportunity—a chance to strengthen our operations, enhance our service to members, and build on the strong foundation that has brought us here. The ANA-Michigan Board and I are committed to transparency, professionalism, and steady leadership during every step of this process.
We will continue to share updates as key milestones are reached. In the meantime, we welcome your questions and feedback at nurse@ana-michigan.org.
Together, we will continue to advance nursing practice in Michigan, influence health policy and the care of Michiganders, and support one another as professionals dedicated to the people and communities of Michigan.
Thank you for your trust, engagement, and commitment to ANA-Michigan.
With appreciation and optimism,
Barbara R. Medvec, DNP, RN, NEA-BC
President and Interim
Executive Director
