The strength of the South Carolina Nurses Association (SCNA) has always been rooted in its people, our passionate members, and the powerful partnerships we build across the state. As we step into 2026, that spirit of collaboration is stronger than ever, and nowhere is it more evident than in our growing network of Organizational Affiliates.
These partnerships amplify the voice of nursing and ensure that our work reflects the diverse needs of South Carolina’s healthcare landscape. Each affiliate brings a unique perspective, allowing SCNA to remain relevant, responsive, and deeply connected to the evolving realities of nursing practice and patient care.
We are proud to partner with a dynamic group of organizations that share our mission of advancing nursing and improving health outcomes for all South Carolinians. Our current affiliates include:
- South Carolina Department of Public Health
- Midlands of South Carolina Black Nurses Association
- South Carolina Faith Community Nurses
- Coalition for Access to Healthcare
- South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
- Delta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Incorporated – our newest affiliate!
These organizations not only benefit from their affiliation with SCNA but also play a critical role in shaping the strategic priorities of the association. Through collaboration, information-sharing, and mutual support, we ensure that the voices of nurses from every corner of the profession are heard and valued.
Staying Connected and Moving Forward
To foster continued communication and innovation, SCNA hosts quarterly Organizational Affiliate Meetings, a space for dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning. During these sessions, leaders discuss statewide nursing initiatives, policy updates, and partnership opportunities that strengthen nursing’s impact in South Carolina.
The 2026 Organizational Affiliate Meeting Calendar is as follows:
— February 24, 2026
— April 21, 2026
— August 18, 2026
— December 8, 2026
All meetings will be held at 6:30 PM via Zoom. A recurring meeting link will be sent to all affiliates at the start of the year.
