2024 Accomplishments
- Increased membership by 290% (based on July 2023 membership of 705 and June 2024 membership of 2047).
- Promoted ANA-Ohio to individuals and organizations throughout the state. Attended several events.
- Facilitated two Nurse Summits with 25 Ohio nursing organizational leaders participating.
- Facilitated three regional forums hosted by President Patton.
- Facilitated discussion and provided data for three potential special interest groups.
- Published articles on the ANA-Ohio News Journal.
- Facilitated the placement of the ANA student nurse subscription on the ANA-Ohio website to facilitate students to join the ANA student nurses site.
- In collaboration with Ngage, initiated a retention plan which includes a welcome letter to new members and the first of the month “Dive into Your Membership” email.
- Changed committee name to Outreach and Engagement to incorporate committee activities that meet the growing needs of ANA-Ohio.
2025 Goals
- Continue to monitor ANA-Ohio growth through the ANA-Ohio dashboard.
- Increase ANA-Ohio membership by 15% based on current membership of 2047.
- Seek collaboration opportunities to retain at least 75% of ANA-Ohio membership.
- Create opportunities to interact with faculty and students.
- Host at least one Ohio Nurse Summit.
