A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

As we close out another incredible year for the Nebraska Nurses Association, I find myself reflecting with an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

This year has been filled with growth, connection, advocacy, and so many moments that remind me of the incredible strength of nursing in Nebraska. From celebrating nurses and recognizing their achievements to advocating for our profession, strengthening our membership, and creating new opportunities to connect and lead, we have accomplished so much—together.

I am especially grateful for our NNA Board of Directors and the countless committee members and volunteers who give their time, expertise, and passion to move our profession forward. Your leadership and commitment make this organization what it is.

And to our NNA members: thank you for trusting me to serve as your Executive Director and for welcoming me so warmly into this role. It is a privilege to work alongside nurses who care so deeply about our profession, our patients, and the future of nursing in Nebraska.

As we look toward a new year, I am excited about what we will continue to build together. There is so much possibility ahead—and I am grateful to be on this journey with all of you.

Thank you for an incredible year. Here’s to celebrating all we have accomplished and all that is still to come!

With gratitude,
Megan Lowery, MSN-Ed, RN
