The MNA 2026 Convention Committee, chaired by Dr. Debra Jorae, is preparing an impactful MNA 123rd Annual Convention featuring keynote speaker ANA President Jennifer Mensik Kennedy, PhD, MBA, RN, NEA‑BC, FAAN. With the theme “The Power of Maryland Nurses: Advancing Health, Honoring Service, Celebrating America 250,” the event will spotlight the leadership and lasting contributions of Maryland nurses as the nation commemorates “America 250”.
Held October 8–9, 2026, at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum, the convention will bring nurses together for two days of learning, inspiration, and celebration. The Convention Committee includes Dr. Nayna Philipsen, Dr. Lou Bartolo, Dr. Rebecca Wiseman, Dr. Jeannie Seifarth, Bijoy Mahanti, and Dausha White, supported by MNA staff Dr. Barbara Biedrzycki and Ron Santana.
The committee is designing a convention that will:
- Advance health through leadership and innovation
- Empower professional advocacy and collaboration
- Honor the legacy and service of Maryland nurses
