Number of early elective deliveries fall slightly, but more work needed

A survey from the Leapfrog Group released on Jan. 25 found that 39% of hospitals had an elective newborn delivery rate of 5% or less, compared to 30% of hospitals last year. However, rates range from less than 5% (Leapfrog’s target) to more than 40%. Read more.
