More than 230 healthcare leaders, institutional funders, and corporate partners gathered for the inaugural American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) Celebration Dinner held October 7 at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta in conjunction with the 2025 ANCC Magnet & Pathway Conference™. The evening honored extraordinary contributions made by individuals and organizations dedicated to transforming healthcare through The Power of Nurses™.

Over the past 5 years alone, partnerships have enabled the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) to invest $52.6 million through 136 grants, reaching more than 3 million nurses across the United States. In addition, the dinner honored partnerships and transformative philanthropy that continue to advance the nursing profession.

“The Celebration Dinner embodies the power of collective impact,” said Angela Beddoe, chief executive officer of ANE. “When philanthropy, community, innovation, and nursing leadership come together, we can truly transform healthcare and ensure nurses have the support they need to thrive. This is just the beginning of a tradition that will continue to elevate the nursing profession for years to come.”

Several awards were presented during the evening:

  • The Community Impact Award recognized the National CARES Mentoring Movement for its
transformative affiliate network, which provides healing, connection, and workforce development opportunities to underserved youth across
    58 U.S. communities.
  • The Foundation Impact Award honored the United Health Foundation for its $3.1 million investment in nurse well-being, COVID-19 response funding, and new scholarships for nursing students.
  • The Corporate Impact Award recognized Kaiser Permanente for its $14.5 million support of the Reimagining Nursing Initiative, the largest project
in ANF’s history, with 44 nurse-led pilot programs now active in 41 states, which work to transform healthcare delivery.
  • Danielle Altares Sarik, PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC, FAAN, received the 2025 Jeannine Rivet National Leadership Award, which honors outstanding nurse leaders shaping the future of healthcare.

The evening also marked the announcement of a new scholarship fund for nursing students facing financial hardship, generously gifted by NurseHub, a company dedicated to supporting nursing students through AI-powered learning, courses, and exam preparation.

“ANF is especially thankful for NurseHub’s generous gift to finance nursing education for those who lack access to needed resources,” said Graig Eastin, executive director of ANF. “This scholarship fund is timely and necessary to ensure the growth and enduring success of the nursing profession.”
