New resource for pain management in the elderly

Visit a new one-stop resource for managing pain in the elderly at www.geriatricpain.org. Sections of the site include pain assessment, pain management, education, quality improvement, resources, and FAQs.

Sigma Theta Tau International’s Center for Nursing Excellence in Long-Term Care launched the site in collaboration with experts from five of the nine Harford Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence; nurses from skilled nursing facilities; senior nurse executives from national providers; and representatives from trade associations and geriatric consumer groups.
