Study: More diagnostic tests in ED may not improve outcomes for CAP

According to study published by Pediatrics, emergency departments (EDs) that used more diagnostic tests for community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) had higher hospitalization rates, but ED revisit rates weren’t significantly different between high and low ED users of tests.
