Hospital patients with chronic diseases at risk for unintentional stoppage of medications

A study in JAMA found that patients with chronic diseases who are admitted to the hospital are at increased risk for unintentional discontinuation of their medications. The problem was even worse in patients who had been in the ICU. Read more.
