American Nurse Journal welcomes Rose O. Sherman as our latest Nurse Influencer!

American Nurse Journal is excited to welcome Rose O. Sherman, EdD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN as our newest Nurse Influencer!

Dr. Sherman’s blog will be known as “A Pioneering Spirit – Developing the Next Generation of Nurse Leaders” and will focus on her work in helping current and future nurse leaders to develop their leadership and coaching skills.

Rose is an emeritus professor in the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University and currently serves as a faculty member in the Marian K Shaughnessy Nursing Leadership Academy at Case Western Reserve University.

Before teaching, she spent 25 years in leadership roles with the Department of Veterans Affairs at five VA Medical Centers. Rose is Editor in Chief of Nurse Leader, the American Organization of Nurse Executives’ official journal.
