IN THE FACE of repeated threats from Congress and the administration, the American Nurses Association (ANA) and nurses nationwide have been fighting to protect healthcare benefits so vital to individuals and our nation. This November, we will have another opportunity to make our voices heard—this time by electing officials who will commit to strengthening affordability, access, and quality of care, while also addressing the impact of social determinants of health.
