Protecting graduate funding for nurses

More than 230,000 nurses and patients signed ANA’s petition urging the Department of Education to protect graduate nursing education and patients’ access to care following the department’s proposed exclusion of nursing from the definition of “professional degree” programs. This exclusion would limit federal loan eligibility for advanced nursing degrees.
