“Developing & Strengthening Nurse-Physician Relationships: A CEP American White Paper,” released on June 12, details a program to improve nurse-physician relationships in the ED. The program consists of collaborative ED management process, on-duty team processes and skills, interpersonal skills and conflict management, nurse collaborative practice guidelines, joint education program, and program and provider evaluation.
