Nurse safety in the era of open notes

Patients now have access to clinical notes that show the full names of staff members involved in their care. Considering the level of violence against healthcare personnel and how easy it is to learn details about people, I worry about my safety and the safety of my coworkers. What’s my ethical obligation to sign my notes with my full name vs my obligation to self to maintain personal safety?
