AS THE HOLIDAY SEASON and the end of my service as American Nurses Association (ANA) president approach, I’ve been thinking more about how we champion the amazing nurses who selflessly care for people across our country. Recently, I read some of the tributes from colleagues, family members, and patients posted online through the American Nurses Foundation’s Honor a Nurse program.
