According to a study in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, most patients don’t use inhalers and epinephrine autoinjectors correctly. The study included 102 patients who used autoinjectors and 44 patients who used metered-dose inhalers with spacers. Only 7% correctly used the inhaler, and only 16% correctly used the autoinjector.
