Compared to methylprednisolone, topical doses of ultra low-dose tacrolimus, an immunosuppressive medication, is equally effective and is associated with fewer hypertensive side effects in treating ocular symptoms associated with graft-versus-host-disease, according to a study in Ophthalmology.
