Nurses have carried the world through a pandemic and continue to experience the stressors of a staffing crisis and an overburdened healthcare system. Ongoing practices that increase patients’ complications, lengths of stay, readmissions, and safety risks add to nurses’ overall workload. However, evidence-based, safe mobility practices can help us work smarter, not harder.
